By Ben Bakelaar and Caterina Agostini   IIIF is an acronym that stands for International Image Interoperability Format. An easy way to think of IIIF is like a webpage. A webpage is built with HTML, via hypertext markup language. It pulls together text, images, and other multimedia into a single view. The Rutgers Digital Humanities Initiative supports digital humanities projects in research, teaching, and public outreach at Rutgers. Our programming includes a regular schedule of events, including workshops, lectures, and conferences. The DHI is currently led by Francesca Giannetti and Kristin O'Brassill-Kulfan and directed by an interdisciplinary group of scholars drawn from across the School of Arts and Sciences and the New Brunswick Libraries.
